How to transfer pictures to computer?
I have a 16GB SanDisk Extreme III Compact Flash card, and a compact flash adapter. But I don't have a clue how to get pictures taken on the camera off the compact flash card and onto my laptop! Where do I plug it in? Quick answers please, I'm in a bit of a rush!
Ok, I think I've worked out where to put it, into a slot out of which comes a black plastic grid thing. However, nothing is showing up in my computer when I slot it in, and it seems to be a little loose.

This doesn't sound right to me. Are you sure that your PC even has a Flash Card slot??? The laptop make and model number would have helped.
Have you read your Camera's User Manual? There should be a USB cable for doing this.

Take the laptop and the Flash card into the Source / Radio Shack and they will help you.
