Fat Princess

I just vaguely read some headlines about this games after last years E3, but dismissed the thought completely.
Then videos started appearing all over my internet paths recently, and after seeing both the CO-OP coverage in their Game Developers Conference coverage and my Spidey-like game senses tingled.

This is actually a game with a lot of depth to it. The game is a classic "Red vs. Blue" Capture the Flag game in style, and puts a player on a team consisting of up to 32 carton characters, where the main goal of the game is to rescue your own teams princess who is being help captive by the opposing team.

In a traditional capture the flag game, you rush with your team over to get the other teams flag back to your own home base. But in "Fat Princess" the twist is that at the start of each round, your princess (the flag) is already being held captive by the opposing team, and you are holding theirs. So the goal of the game is to both rescue your own princess back to your castle, but also to feed the captive princess so much food that she becomes fat and harder for the opposing team to carry back to their castle in order to score.

At your disposal you have a castle, or stronghold, five machines that produces various hats, representing the classes available in the game. So A player can pick up a hat from wither the machine, or one lost by the opposing team and become that character class - warrior, worker, priest, ranger or mage - with unique weapons and style of play.

The game is looking out to become a true online gem of a multiplayer experience. It will be available for PS3 as a downloadable game of the PlayStation Network.
