George Carlin Remembered

George Carlin died of heart failure Sunday June 22nd at age 71.  An avid spokesperson against religion now has a chance to check the afterlife for himself. I really hope he had time to think "I told you so."

Wherever you are now Mr. Carlin I really hope you have found "A place for your stuff", my favorite of all your shows. You will be sadly missed by your fans worldwide. To me you where proof to the fact that  reflected, cognitive people, able to see the broader picture of our existence, actually existed. You where a great spokesperson for common sense as well as showing all of us how much bullshit bullshit really can be. Which is something we all need to be told every now and then.

Here is a quick list of some of my favorite moments of George Carlin's performances, and a lot of wisdom to go a long with the great humor and insight into humanity:

1. Religion:

2: Airline Announcements and the use of the word "Pre-":

3. Interfering with nature:

4: 10 commandments - or is 2 enough:

5: Voting: This just explains so much to a European:

6: And the one I recognize myself way to much in: Stuff:

7. The amazing "Modern Man Monolgue" - Thanks for the reminder terjesb!

8. A favorite on airport security, where the point became all to clear later on.

9. Small and odd things, like these thoughts on flamethrowers needs to be represented here:

10. And of course the 7 words have to be here as well.

Hils familien.
