Hak5 - new show at Revision3!

I have just recently discovered the show Hak5.  The show that in it's 4th season premiered over at Revision3.com is a great addition to the Revision3 schedule.  Their description of the show says:

Hak5 isn't your typical tech show. It's hacking in the old-school sense, covering everything from network security, open source and forensics, to DIY modding and the homebrew scene. Damn the warranties, it's time to Trust your Technolust

The shows hosts are down to earth but the topics covered [are not] are really exciting and about stuff you don't get to see anywhere else. The show will be running at Revision3 from this 4th season, but old episodes are available at Hak5.org and I recommend you start at the beginning, and get to know the guys. I have learned more fascinating stuff in in  the last few days then I could have imagined.

So start watching their shows at revision3.com or at Hak5.org - and if you like it, donate some money through paypal, and help them with the transition to HD. If you do they will send you some cool stickers that goes great with your Asus Eee or Acer One.

And the great part: They have an old-school bbs with a MUD up and running at bbs.hak5.org. How great is that? I was watching the first few shows as podcasts on my iPhone while lying in bed the other night, and I immediately telnet'ed to their BBS from my iPhone. Great mix of old school with new tech!

Awesome, glad you found us and even better, sounds like you're down with the technolust. Doing this show is a blast and it's really rewarding to see comments like these. Just a quick note, it's hak5.org, not .com. The damn spammers nabbed that one. To think I got .org back in 2005 because it was cheaper and I, like, didn't want to spend a lot on the show. Well, three years and tens of thousands of dollars later... hehe, it's really a labor of love I tell ya.

Cheers,
Darren

Thanks for noticing my post Darren. I really took a liking to your show the first few minutes I saw of it.
I am sorry I had not heard about you guys before you came to Revision 3, but old episodes was easily available thank you very much!
Having worked with hardware for many years and now working on the software side of the business, you could say the technolust is quite strong. The way you guys cover it is superb for guys like me, and I would think the much more hardcore guys as well.

Keep up the good work. And congratulations with season 4. I am watching eagerly!
